Studio Expression Film Portraits on Olive Backdrop with Riley

About the Studio Portrait Photography Shoot

A sequence of dramatic expressionism and portraiture shot in studio on a Contax 645 with 15 year expired Kodak Portra 160VC and two strobes. Shot in my photography studio in Traverse City Michigan. I styled Riley with vintage earth toned fashion and used my signature Olive Green savage seamless backdrop. This portrait shoot became the inspiration for my signature style as a studio portrait photographer. The lighting, the colors, contrast and a gaze that you can't take your eyes away from. This has become the style that I am known for as a portrait photographer.
